Cora Finals .... our results

22 wins and 19 2nd/3rd finishs

The DRC team went with a strong team to the Cora Finals 2011. Still weeks to go to Henley, THE REGATTA OF THE YEAR, and still a lot to do. The coaches team tried a lot of boats, a lot of combinations and a lot of stress to bring into our racing team and not always have been the results as the coaches had been wishing.

Our mens coxed four: Steve, Nick, Jens and John stormed into the final today ... and lost it. But congrats to this big statement

Our mens eight ... semifinal today .... and racing former Olympians. A strong crew ... a fight David and Goliah, David lost in this case but could give this crew the hardest race of their regatta. They won their final finally easily ... what means that they won by over 4 length. Congrats to our boys

Cora Finals / RowOntario Masters (9/10 July)

The first big finals on their way.

While in europe our Canadian national team rows in Luzern / Switzerland and our Masters men in Henley / GB .... the rest of the DRC comp-crews fight for their "lorbeer" in Canada

Cora Finals in St. Catarines .... the DRC starts with 55 boats and prepares for the first big final coming up 2 weeks later with the RowOntario finals. After the so far good showing in Guelph and Dominion Day a lot of more boats showing themself at the weekend and we are excited to see what our boys and girls can do.
