Fred Loek born:08-11-1948 born here:Amsterdam, The Netherlands being at DRC since when:1968 coaching at DRC since when:1978 hobbies:cycling, running after Liz at canoe races your favourite results as a rower:winning 2- at the International Junior Regatta for Holland in 67 and 2x Henely Championships in 72 lwt 4- and 4+ your favourite results as a coach:World Championship Lwt wmns 2x 1987 (Heather Hattin and Janice Mason) in Copenhagen, Bronze medal at worlds in Nottingham mens lwt 2x Rob Haag and Cam Harvey, Pan Am Games gold Silken Laumann 1x, Sliken and Kay Worthington gold at Holland Cup and third place at Luzern in 88 and countless Henley victories.

Favorite result as a rower: Bronze medal at the Canadian Championships, Montreal/Gold in University Wms 8+ Head of the Connecticut Favorite result as a coach: Silver medal Jr Mens 2- CSSRA (Schoolboys)/Gold medal Jr Mens 2x CSSRA/CanAmMex Golds W2-/M2X/M4X



Junior B Coach Ed Kornachuk


Born: 20 FEBRUARY 1942!!! in LACHINE, QUEBEC (NEAR MONTREAL) being at DRC since when: 1982 coaching at DRC since when: 2002 hobbies: PAINTING AND DRAWING ART your favourite results as a rower: WINNING MASTERS 2X AT HENLEY 3 YEARS IN A ROW WITH KARI JUURAKO your favourite results as a coach: SHANNON MURPHY GETTING A ROWING SCHOLARSHIP TO SHAWNIGAN LAKE SCHOOL IN 2007 SHANNON MADE THE WOMAN'S VARSITY 8+ AND THEY WON GOLD AT CSSRA 2009.

Born when: too long ago Born where: in Toronto I have been at the DRC since 1989 - started sculling when my son was rowing as a Bantam Hobbies- rowing, gardening, baking Favorite results as a rower-every race I won- especially third place medal at the Charles and First in Womens 4+ at FISA Masters in Princeton Favorite results as Coach- seeing Junior rowers realize just what they can do when they push themselves- seeing these same kids grow into great people who use these same skills to become focused and self directed in their lives contact
