Competitive Rowing
The competitive program at the DRC is considered to be a high performance category of rowing. To compete at this level requires a year-round commitment, with six training sessions each week during the winter. During the summer racing season, twelve to fourteen workouts can be common. The competitive program is for individuals 16 years of age and older. Whether junior, intermediate, senior or masters, DRC oarswomen and oarsmen have always been a strong presence in Ontario.
